Every ANNODARE tie is handmade in Italy using silk woven in Como. Produced in small runs and built with attention to balance, structure, and finish.

1. Silk

We work exclusively with pure silk selected for its texture, depth, and ability to hold shape over time.

From twill to satin finishes, each fabric is chosen for the way it knots, drapes, and catches light naturally.

2. Cut on the bias

Each tie is cut at a 45-degree angle, known as the bias cut.

This allows the tie to move naturally, recover its shape, and maintain a clean drape through years of wear.

3. Tipping

The tipping is finished using self-tipping or carefully selected linings that complement the silk and add structure to the tie.

A subtle detail, but an important one.

4. Interlining

Inside each tie is a wool-blend interlining that gives the tie its balance and shape.

Structured enough to hold a clean knot, soft enough to move naturally.

5. Hand finishing

Every ANNODARE tie is finished by hand using traditional slip stitching techniques that allow the tie to flex and recover with wear.

6. Final details

Each tie is pressed, folded, and inspected by hand before leaving the atelier.
